Multi-functional restraint belt production and clinical application

Objective: To make a multi-functional restraint belt and to explore its clinical application effect.

method: According to the objective problems in nursing practice and related clinical research, the multi-functional restraint suit is designed by the chest, abdomen, shoulder restraint single, double upper limb restraint single, bed bar restraint single and fixed gloves. From January 2014 to December 2014, 80 patients were selected, the observation group and the control group with 40 cases in each group, respectively, the application of self-made multi-functional restraint belt and the traditional restraint belt fixed, observation and comparison of restraint effect.

results: the observation group of patients with skin abrasions, Le red, restraint with slippage, drainage tube out of three adverse reactions were lower than the control group, and the satisfaction of patients was significantly higher than the control group, the difference was significant, P<0.05.

conclusion: the use of self-made multi-functional restraint belt can effectively fix the trunk and upper limbs, play a good role in restraint, is conducive to monitoring, diagnosis, disease observation work. At the same time, it is of great significance to reduce nursing accidents and improve nursing safety, which is worthy of clinical reference.
